Meet Our Team

Mark Lenert, LUTCF®

Founder & Financial Advisor

For over 15 years, Mark has worked as a Financial Advisor. He offers insurance, investment, retirement, and long-term planning services. Seeking to have a significant impact on the lives of individuals, families, and business owners, Mark founded the Lenert Financial Group.

Mark graduated in 1991 from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Before beginning his financial planning career, Mark spent time teaching high school mathematics and coaching soccer and football. His love for numbers, his desire to educate, and his ability to understand the needs of others made transitioning into financial services a logical progression. Mark holds his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designation. He has achieved Court of Table for the Million Dollar Round Table since 2016 as well as Chairman’s Council since 2015. Both of these are very prestigious honors in his profession.

Aside from helping his clients achieve their financial objectives, Mark enjoys sports, music, traveling, playing the guitar, meeting new people, and spending time with his family. He and his wife Ida have three children: Liam, Linnea, and Isabella and they currently reside in Tarrytown New York.

Thomas Langheinrich

Office Manager

Thomas is the Office Manager at Lenert Financial Group. He specializes in delivering quality account and customer service. After completing his education in Business Management and Computer Services at the University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Thomas relocated to the United States. He enjoys photography, traveling, and cooking in his time away from the office.

Ashley Mikoletic Cheng

Office Coordinator

Ashley is the Office Coordinator at Lenert Financial Group. She graduated with her B.A. from Ursuline College in 2007 in conjunction with her A.A.S. from the Fashion Institute of Technology. After achieving her degree, she worked for a luxury handbag brand managing the office and customer service team. She brings her experience from her former role into her day-to-day responsibilities at LFG. In her time away from the office, Ashley also manages events for Brooklyn Based. She enjoys her time at the yoga studio, following Cleveland sports and traveling with family and friends. She and her husband Nelson live in Long Island City with their dog Cue.

Jonathan Schoenberg

Certified Financial Planner

Jonathan is dedicated and passionate about everything he does, from his business to his family. Since beginning his career in 2004, he has helped hundreds of families and businesses with insurance and financial planning, succession and estate planning, and employee benefits. As a Certified Financial Planner, he is a trusted adviser to his clients and a resource to his colleagues in the financial planning community.

He has qualified for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table* every year since 2004 and has been honored multiple times as Agent of the Year by New York Life Insurance Company. It is this zeal and commitment that each client can expect from Jonathan. His clients deeply value the integrity and insight he brings to their relationship.

A graduate of Indiana University, Jonathan currently resides in Woodbury, Long Island with his wife, his son and daughter. He strongly believes in giving back to his community where he and his wife are active participants in the Long Island 2 Day "Hope Runs Here" 5k for breast cancer awareness. He spends his “non-working time” coaching football and soccer and hitting the links whenever he can.

Matthew Pomerantz

Financial Advisor

Matthew graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2011 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and International Business. Matthew is a third generation advisor offering insurance, retirement, investment, and long term care planning. He also offers financial planning through Eagle Strategies. Matthew lives in New York City with his fiancé Amanda and while not working enjoys traveling, golfing and skiing.

Frankie Correa

Financial Services Professional

Frankie has been working with Lenert Financial for 3 years and has been in the financial services industry for 5 years. His expertise and specialty is with insurance products. He spends most of his time with Lenert financial in the field helping clients with their life, disability, and long term care protection. Lenert Financial is fortunate to have Frankie as part of its team. Frankie, his wife Vanessa, and their three children Alyssa, Francisco III, and Jonathan reside in Queens, New York.

Lillie N. Nkenchor

Advanced Planning Consultant – Estate and Business

Lillie obtained her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.S. in Public Health/Biology from Rutgers University. She is currently pursuing an Executive LLM in International Tax at Georgetown University Law Center. As a dedicated Advanced Planning Consultant, Lillie is responsible for managing large estate and business planning cases. From start to finish, she works with financial advisors and their affluent clients in proposing suitable planning solutions. As a presenter and writer, she often discusses a wide range of topics including the basics of trusts and the more complex role of financial products in business, estate and retirement planning.

In addition to pursuing her professional goals, Lillie believes in serving others and has done so as a Seton Hall Teaching Fellow, the Treasurer and Chair of the National Bar Association's (NBA) Tax Section, the Chair of the Avondale Home Owner's Association and as a formal mentor to several high school and college-aged students. Her efforts, both in and outside the legal community, have been recognized by the NBA, as she has been named a recipient of their 2017 "40 Under 40" Award. The award recognizes the nation's top lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement in the legal field, including advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership and overall legal and community involvement.

Michael Torres

Life Product Consultant

Michael began his career in 2007 as an agent in Fullerton, California, where he worked for eight years. He qualified for executive council every year, qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table multiple times and was the recipient of various other sales achievement awards. His primary clients were professionals, public workers, small business owners, and middle-income families.

In 2014, Mike took a position working as an internal Life Product Consultant since one of his passions is working with agents to design effective financial solutions to help meet the goals of their clients. In 2017, Mike was promoted to be the Life Product Consultant of the Manhattan, Queens, & Nassau General Offices.

Lisa Koslowski

Business Development Consultant

Since 2003, Lisa has been working to protect, conserve, and grow wealth for clients and their families. For the first two years of her career, Lisa worked with young professionals and business owners as an agent in Long Island, NY. Lisa then transitioned to Variable Products, and during her five year tenure, she received numerous promotions and awards.

In 2010, she returned to Agency as an internal Life Product Consultant. In supporting the West Central Zone she worked closely with top agents, helping them bring their business to the next level. Lisa managed two Sales Desks in 2015, both the Long Term Care and the newly created Worksite Sales Desk. In 2017, Lisa was provided an opportunity to work with the Business Development Consultant team to provide more focus on businesses to bring additional employee benefits to the table.
